When extracting crude oil from a well it’s usually be a mixture of oil, gas and water and to process the oil and it’s ingredients these three components are separated. To separate bulk water from the crude oil we use Centrifugal Physics not chemicals to achieve high accuracy. the oil is lighter than water so it goes up and the water goes down at the same time and once the liquid reaches the end of the separator it leaves the oil and water discharge separately.
